My first 2 novels, The Shadow Within and The Pope Lick Massacre are extreme examples of my favorite genre, horror. The great thing about horror is it has no limit or restrictions on where it appears or how it might be presented. Enter The Sins of the Past, my Victorian horror mashup. While I may have pulled back on the extreme nature of my first 2 books, I wanted to showcase the horror of the unknown.
This book is hard for me to pin down with a specific category like Amazon and many author sites require. It's horror, but so much more. This book has supernatural elements, spiritualism, monsters, mystery, history, dark forgotten gods, action, adventure, and characters that leap off the page.
This book is a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. You may read this novel as a stand-alone, but know I plan on revisiting this world several times. Hopefully, you will join me on Ephraim Godwin's journey.

On a final note, Brian Regan has a new special on Netflix. I love his style of comedy and this one didn't disappoint. It's that weird mix of clean, silly, and above all funny that Regan pulls off so well.
